In the market for an LBD. A LBD? What's the proper article here?

A little black dress. I have a few black dresses, but I kind of want one that has a sheathier silhouette. I decided to do some online window-shopping, aided by polyvore. I pretty much only looked at Nordstrom, because Macy's site didn't cooperate with polyvore.

Which do you like best? I like the one with the faux-leather cutouts around the neck, but a close second is the sleeveless one with the metal studs around the neck. (bedazzler, anyone?)

I really like the cut-out detail on that first you mention -- but really, these are all pretty beautiful dresses.

My personal favorite is that abstract print -- it looks just like a petoskey stone!

I like the cutout bit around the neck one too. Its lovely. I have 2 LBD - although one is so short I wear it more as a top! Am packing to go away at present - must be mindful of the fact I am only going away for 4 days!!

Nly - what's a petoskey stone? I guess I could just google it.

Monkey - I am packing for a weekend trip as well! I always pack too much. I hope you have a fun time, wherever you are going!

I like the first dress.

In order of preference:
1. Donna Morgan Cutout Ponte Knit Dress
2. Suzi Chin Maggy Boutique Drape Neck Dress with Cascade Skirt (Plus)
3. Suzi Chin Maggy Boutique Studded Sleeveless Ponte Knit Dress (Plus)

Donna Morgan dress is chosen for the edgier neckline which makes it not just a LBD!

The Suzi Chin Maggy Drape Neck Dress with Cascade Skirt makes it to the list because the type of design with cascading skirt is very forgiving on the tummy!

I just really like the arrangement of the studs in the last dress. I have a little bit of a rock chick in me.

Merry - I think we are in agreement - those three dresses are my faves for sure. Thanks for commenting!
